Mammoth Caves

These two pictures are after our 2 1/2 mile hike. It was a fun little hike in the caves. Different than I thought it would be.
Jared and Carter in the cave. These cave were carved out by the underground river. We were able to hike down to this river. It was very muddy.

Outside the caves, right before the excursion. We went the second weekend in August. And it was a nice day, not that that mattered!

BABY FUN!!!!

Alright, I guess I better let everyone know that I am pregnant!!! Very Exciting. I am going to have this baby sometime around Dec 14. Now does anyone have any guesses to what I am having??? The doctor gave me his guess, so you all should guess then I will let you know. Congrats to all my friends that have just had their little buddles of joy.

Two post in one day, I am on a roll. This was my first doctors appointment, because we are living in KY right now. And I just came home to visit and go see the doctor. I was very happy to see my little baby moving and healthy. Carter thought that is was pretty neat seeing the baby on the ultrasound. He was a talking fool.

I am here with my family and poor Jared is all alone in KY. We miss him and I bet he misses us.

We have been a little side tracked lately, but I found a little time to video carter. He is getting so big!! Still skinny, but he is in the 95% for height at almost 30 inches. So he has good reasons for being skinny. Our news is that we leave for KY. in a week and we just started packing. Jared is busy studying for finals and building a trailer to haul our cars out to KY. Allyn is busy packing and taking care of the little guy. She almost totaled her car by sliding into the snake river bridge and caused over $4000.00 in damage. She and Carter are fine, in fact Carter didn't even wake up when she wrecked. As if we weren't busy enough!!! Jared has a flash burn on his eye and wore a patch until he got sick of it and just wears sun glasses everywhere now. He is fine too, and his eye will heal in a few days the doctor said. All in all it is a stressful time, but with a baby like carter, we are always happy.

Sorry that we are slackers and never update our blog anymore. Well we found out that we aren't moving to Portland this year instead we are headed out to good ole' Kentucky. We are excited but not as much as we were for moving to Portland. Hopefully we can get more pictures and videos on soon. Sorry again!
