Carthage Jail
It was really neat to finally take Jared to some of the church historical sites. Even though we had to brave our first tornado. It was worth it.

This room is called the Dungeon Room.





Through this door is the room where it all happened. If you look closely you can see the two bullet holes. One of the gun shots killed Hyrum Smith immediately. (If you are having a hard time finding both holes, the other one is above the door handle.)












Here is the outside of Carthage Jail. The window above Jared is where Joseph Smith fell from. The spirit felt here was incredible.
